Testimony of Vanessa Belmond

The ex-porn star Vanessa Belmond left behind a years-long career in adult entertainment, and is hoping to help others do the same.

She performed under the name “Alexa Cruz” when she was 25 years old. Right now she has become an antipornography advocate to spread the consequences and dangers that this can provoke and she volunteers with antipornography.org, which is a group against the pornography and its industry.

She started to work in porn industry when she was just 18 years old and she decided to quite seven years ago in March, when she got affected with emotional and physical consequences that this work left on her.

“I am now volunteering for AntiPornography.org and supporting their vitally important mission by speaking out against the devastating harms of pornography, prostitution, stripping, and related forms of sexual exploitation and abuse,” she said. She is now supporting the anti pornography, she got affected by several consequences and now she is helping people not to pass what she suffered, that‘s why she is speaking out against the pornography and its consequences.

“Date my porn star” is a British television show, hosted by three porn fans and the examine the industry and were men have the chance to meet their favorite adult film stars, where she said that the industry took her further than she had intended to go when she started at 18, because she just wants to model naked but her boss forced her to have sexual relationships with several men at the time.

She said that it has really difficult to work in this industry since everything involved is no natural, she said that the most difficult part was mentally, because of all the difficult things that she needed to pass like 7 men trying to have sex with you at the same time.

“Nobody really wants to date a porn star, stripper or escort. Also the whole family thing and having kids, I’m like ‘who’s going to have kids with an ex-porn star,’” Belmond said, according to the Christian Post. “And even when I’m 60 I’m still going to have this porn on the Internet. It’s like having a virus or something that never goes away.”

She also had STD‘s: “My first scene actually I got Chlamydia. I was like ‘oh my gosh, this is so gross.’ As far as STDs I had Chlamydia probably three, four times or more… I had gonorrhea. I had bacterial infections a lot and the testing I thought was keeping me safe because they make it sound like everyone is tested…” Here, she admitted other of her consequences, she had STD‘s and this is so delicate, that‘s why she is now helping people not to fall into addiction pornography.

Vanessa realized of what pornography industry can make really late, by the time she quit this job she already had more than 20 STD´s, she had to be tested once a month to prevent STD´s and even though the test said “clean” she could probably be infected and she needed to take painkillers and different “unnatural” medications, she knew that her life could never be normal again, but she knew that she could prevent people about pornography and the really dark industry that it hides something strange and that has dark side.
